The Village of Maraug

Information about Maraug:

Munchkins are enslaved by the wicked witch of the East. Taking pity on the munchkins, the good witch of the North charmed and protects a little piece of land, now Maraug, in order for the munchkins to have some time away from the witch. As long as the good witch of the North is alive, the land that Maraug sits on will always be protected. In order for this little secret to be contained and held, the good witch of the North named the little town after the Maraug, which is a very terrifying monster that lives in the lake of Maraug, therefore, due to the “Maraug” and the scary dark forests needed to pass, the wicked witch of the East dares not go into this part of Munchkin Land. With this said, the Village of Maraug was born! 

  

Welcome to the Village of Maraug! A quiet little town surrounded by thick forests and treacherous mountains. Although our town is named after a scary beast, don’t worry! There is no beast here! Maraug is perfect place for unwinding and relaxing on holiday! Munchkins of all ages are permitted to come and explore this quaint village with its world famous ski resort (Thank our good witch of the North for the year round snow!) or take a dip in our beautiful lake which is perfectly in the middle of our village. Along with our sleepy little town, there is a small downtown and city hall. Downtown Maraug has many shops and restaurants that’ll satisfy all our munchkin needs. Our grand city hall hosts many festivals and feasts which is open to all! Maraug is also known for its top notch apothecary and farms. Munchkins from all over the country come and heal their wounds, physical and emotional. We hope you enjoy your stay at Maraug!
